Rosenergoatom has received licenses from Rostechnadzor for the construction of units No. 7 and No. 8 of the Leningrad NPP

Rosenergoatom has received licenses from Rostechnadzor for the construction of nuclear installations of power units No. 7 and No. 8 of the Leningrad NPP, according to the concern's website.

Earlier, in order to obtain licenses, license applications were sent to Rostechnadzor with sets of documents justifying the safety of power units under construction and confirming the readiness of the Leningrad NPP for their construction.

The validity period of the permit is set for 15 years. The commissioning of the new units are scheduled for 2029 and 2031, respectively.
