Rosenergoatom receives Rostekhnadzor licences for siting two Kola NPP-2 units AtomInfo.Ru, PUBLISHED 15.07.2026 The Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) has issued licences to Rosenergoatom Concern JSC for the siting of units 1 and 2 of the Kola NPP-2. This was reported on the Rosenergoatom website. The receipt of the siting licences confirms that the site chosen for the new nuclear plant in the Murmansk region meets all safety requirements, and that the operating organisation is fully prepared to implement this large-scale project. In the near future, the general construction contractor TITAN-2 Concern JSC will begin construction of access roads, erection of the construction and installation base, site grading and forest clearing.
