Site selected for Primorskaya NPP AtomInfo.Ru, PUBLISHED 16.04.2026 The site for the Primorskaya Nuclear Power Plant has been selected near the village of Krasny Yar, close to Ussuriysk, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The plant will consist of two units with VVER-1000 reactors. Construction is planned to begin in 2027. Earlier, sites near the localities of Fokino, Livadia, and Artyom were considered for the NPP's location, but these plans had to be abandoned due to restrictions, including those from the Ministry of Defense, and specific characteristics of those territories.
