Russia denounced agreement with Sweden on early notification of nuclear accident

Russia has denounced the agreement with Sweden on early notification of a nuclear accident and on the exchange of information on nuclear installations.

The corresponding decree was signed by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

He also instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to notify the Swedish side of the decision.

The agreement was signed in January 1988 between the Governments of the USSR and Sweden.
