ROSATOM will be the general partner of the World Youth Festival in 2024

In 2024 ROSATOM will be the general partner of the World Youth Festival which will take place on March, 1-7, 2024 at Sirius Federal Territory (Sochi, the Krasnodar Territory). ROSATOM has also obtained the status of a clean energy supplier for the festival which emphasizes its role in production of low-carbon energy both in the Russian Federation and the partner foreign countries.

Approximately 20 thousand of Russian and foreign young leaders in business, mass media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, sports and various public life areas as well as teenagers representing different children's organizations and associations are expected to take part in the festival. In particular, foreign students from the backbone universities of ROSATOM studying nuclear physics and the related professions will visit the festival.

The program of the festival places emphasis on responsibility for the world's fate, multinational unity, family values. The representatives of ROSATOM will actively participate in the discussion panels and roundtable discussions arranged within the framework of the career, environmental and expert tracks. The managers of ROSATOM - Alexey Likhachev, Director General, Kirill Komarov, First Deputy Director General and Director of the Development and International Business Unit of ROSATOM, Tatiana Terentieva, Deputy Director General for Human Resources of ROSATOM - are among the invited speakers.

In addition, the participants and guests of the festival will be able to learn about technological achievements and developments of ROSATOM on its exhibition stand in the most innovative area of the festival - Terminal T. The exposition will demonstrate the world of the Russian advanced technologies to the participants. The Iceberg art object will meet the guests enabling all participants to be carried away to the severe world of the boundless Arctic regions. Moving around the Iceberg the participants will learn about the Northern Sea Route - the main sea corridor to be developed by ROSATOM.

In the Open Laboratory space one will be able to watch the work of specialists in the area of additive, quantum and composite technologies as well as to take part in workshop sessions and open laboratory classes. A reactor - the heart of a nuclear power plant - will be the center of the exposition space around which the festival participants will be able to communicate with scientists, engineers and researchers representing various areas of ROSATOM activities. Interactive art objects will tell about clean energy of peaceful atom. Discussions, mind games, case battles and other interactive formats telling about scientific developments and advanced technological solutions will be held in the open lecture space continuously.

The World Youth Festival will be held in 2024 in accordance with the decree of Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, for development of the international youth cooperation. 20 thousand of young leaders in education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering and charity, sports, business, mass media, including 10 thousand of foreign participants will take part in it. Teenagers will also have the opportunity to participate in the festival for the first time (within the track of the Movement of the First, the Russian movement of children and youth).
