Rostov-3 is connected to the grid

The newly-constructed third unit of the Rostov NPP in Russia has been connected to the grid the last weekend.

"The third unit of Rostov NPP began to give the first kilowatt-hours in the unified power grid of the country. Since then the unit becomes the energy facility," the Roseneroatom said.

The reactor will operate at 30% power until it produced the necessary energy tests.

The third unit was connected to the grid a few months before the deadline.

The work on the fourth unit construction goes as scheduled.
