BN-600 is at nominal power

The Russian fast neutron sodium-cooled BN-600 reactor is again working at the nominal power level 600 MWe.

The unit has been shutdown at mid-October for refuelling. Only two generators have been worked after its restart at October 30, therefore till now the unit has been operated at 67% power level.

The remaining generator has been started at November 2, i.e. the nominal power level of unit has been achieved.

The partial refuelling of BN-600 reactor shall be fulfilled twice per year.
