Estonian, Finnish Military Inspectors to Fly over Russia RIA Novosti, PUBLISHED August 26, 2013 Estonian and Finnish military inspectors will fly over the territory of Russia starting from Monday under the international Open Skies Treaty, a Russian Defense Ministry official said. “In the period between August 19 and 23, a joint mission of Estonia and Finland will make a surveillance flight over the territory of the Russian Federation on board a Swedish Saab 340 aircraft,” Ruslan Shishin, acting head of the ministry’s National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center, said. Shishin also said that Russian inspectors would conduct an inspection flight over Denmark on board a Tu-154M Lk-1 aircraft in the same period.
