Construction of Taipingling-4 unit has begun

First concrete has been poured for the construction of unit No. 4 at the Taipingling nuclear power plant (China) with an HPR-1000 reactor, China's CGN corporation reports.

At present, the first unit is in operation at the site, fuel has been loaded into the reactor core of the second unit, and construction of units No. 3 and No. 4 is underway.

In total, the Taipingling NPP will consist of six units with Hualong One reactors.
