Cold hydrostatic test took place at Haiyang-3

Cold hydrostatic test has been successfully completed at the Haiyang-3unit with a CAP-1000 reactor under construction in China.

The test was conducted on March 5, 2026. Its results showed that the primary circuit equipment meets the design requirements.

The construction of the Haiyang-3 unit has been underway since July 2022.
