Rosatom took part in the 16th China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry (CIENPI 2025) held in Beijing (China) on April 27-29, 2025 that brought together more than 100 participating organizations, including the world's largest energy companies, research institutes and Chinese government agencies.

Rosatom presented an interactive exposition of 4th generation Russian nuclear power systems (according to the IAEA classification) and achievements of long-term Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, including the projects of Tianwan NPP and Xudapu NPP, as well as developments in the field of nuclear medicine and logistics.

As part of the business program, the heads of a number of Rosatom enterprises spoke about their product offerings in the areas of NPP construction, nuclear fuel production, SNF handling and reprocessing.

Rosatom representatives also took part in the Forum on Sustainable Nuclear Energy Development organized by the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) and held on the margins of the exhibition.

Yang Changli, Chairman of CGN Board of Directors, and Liu Jing, Vice Chairman of China Atomic Energy Authority, visited Rosatom's booth. During the visit, Artem Goncharuk, Director General of the Rosatom East Asia Regional Center in Beijing, told the delegation members about the achievements of the Russian nuclear industry in creating integrated energy solutions.

"We are working with China in this area, the essential nature and significance of which is undeniable, because without the use of energy many things are simply impossible in the modern world. In this field, it is all the more important to plan and build long-term partnerships, which, with mutual respect and trust, grow into strong friendships over time. The already commissioned power units show their high efficiency, professional cooperation with Chinese partners has been established, the power units under construction are in an active stage, and all the works are proceeding as scheduled," commented Alexey Bannik, Vice President for Projects in China and Prospective Projects of Atomstroyexport JSC.
