Ceremony dedicated to the start of construction of the Xudabu-1 unit was held in China

A solemn ceremony dedicated to the start of construction of the Xudabu-1 unit was held in China on November 15, 2023.

The CAP-1000 reactor, the Chinese localization of the AP-1000 project, will be installed on the unit.

The unit is expected to be put into commercial operation in 2028. A year later, the Xudabu-2 unit will be commissioned.

Recall that the construction of units No. 3/4 with VVER-1200 reactors is already underway at the Xudabu site.
